HPF Winter CSA pickup 12/16-18, 19 & 21
Most of us from the farm were attending the New England Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference this week, talking shop with other farmers, learning new growing techniques and visiting the trade show. Many thanks to Rich and Tim for being on the farm all week and getting the work done so that we could sneak off for a few days. Some of you will remember me quing choi from the summer share, and it returns to the share this week. Great for stir fries or soups. Rutabagas are one of my personal favorites roasted or in soups. This will be the last of the beets, as we were again short on the fall crop. Now is definitely time to pay off those outstanding balances, as we are nearly two months into the winter csa season.
For all of you who pickup at the farmstand remember that Anna will be at the farmstand on Friday and Saturday for pickups, and on Sunday we will have the stand set up for self serve. The hours will be from 10:00 to 6:00 on Friday and until 5:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Happy Holidays! Greg
