Heron Pond Farm Winter CSA December 30 to January 4

Hope that all of you have had a great holiday season. Everyone here at the farm had a few days off. Last week we brought in the last of the brussels sprouts. We started off with 5500 plants! This week we harvested the last of the kale from the field and did a big cleanup of the farm to get ready for snow (if it ever comes). With some very low temperatures coming next week, we will also be using row covers inside the greenhouses to protect our winter greens. After that it's time to start fixing tractors!      Greg
