FIT at the farm
Dates/Times TBD
Join RISE Fitness Studio this summer at beautiful Heron Pond Farm in South Hampton for our second Fit at the Farm summer fitness series! We will be meeting near the blooming flower gardens for a workout you won't forget one Sunday a month. We will rotate teaching one of our signature RISE classes each month amped up by adding in the gorgeous surroundings.
Expect to blast fat, sweat, rev up your metabolism and build strength and endurance while working to the beat of a motivating playlist! We might dance, hit some cardio, focus on core work, use our bodyweight, grab weights for strength training, test balance and agility, or hit a combo of all of the above. Class is always creative, and it flows to fit our needs. Especially if our need is a killer workout that puts a smile on our face and some pep in our step. Our classes are for all levels, as there are always modifications offered.
Please bring water and a mat (if you have one)! And of course, it's encouraged to check out the Heron Pond farmstand after class to get some healthy, local ingredients for an after workout dinner or treat!
Flower bouquet workshops
Dates/Times TBD
Spend a Saturday morning on the farm learning from farmer Greg’s wife Reina. She will teach you how to properly harvest, arrange and store the variety of flowers we have available on the farm.
You will have the choice to make and take home 1 large bouquet or 2 small bouquets.
Please bring a water bottle, wear closed toed shoes (garden shoes or muck boots) and clothes that you're comfortable wearing in a field for 1.5-2 hours. There may be mud. If you can, please bring a pair of pruning shears or scissors, as we have a limited amount on the farm.
Outdoor Creative Circle
