early bird Information

1. What is the early bird sale?

Every year we run a month long early bird sale throughout January to offer our most loyal supporters a discount on their investment in eating healthy and supporting local agriculture. When customers sign up early it allows us to better plan and prepare for the growing season ahead. These sales in the middle of winter also inject energy into our farm business at a slower time in the year when it is most impactful and gives us something to look forward to.

2.How do I sign up during early bird?

We are trying to make it super simple to sign up this season, so we are using a Google Form! Please click the button below to sign up/register via the Google Form, it’s very easy and will take you 5-10 minutes to fill out. Please be patient with us and keep in mind that we are a small staff managing all your registrations! I’ll be checking the form and sending confirmation emails once or twice weekly so don’t expect an immediate response or follow up. You will receive a follow up email(s) from us confirming the following:

  • CSA shares you’re signing up for

  • Pricing based on payment method

  • Payment confirmation if completed OR the amount due if not yet.

If you are a returning member who is comfortable using the Local Food Marketplace storefront and would rather sign yourself up through your LFM account you are welcome to. Note the prices listed there are for card/Venmo payments.

3. making an early bird payment

In order to receive the sale pricing you must pay in full by Saturday January 31st!

We try to be flexible so we accept a variety of payments, but prefer check and cash to avoid card processing fees. If no payment is made as of the first week in February we will change the outstanding total back to original pricing, due by the start of your season. At this time, we do not offer the early bird pricing for monthly payment plans but you are welcome to sign up for a payment plan during the early bird period if you’d like and monthly payments will begin in March. Please reach out with any questions!

Ways to make a payment:

  • Please send a check to: Heron Pond Farm CSA 299 Main Ave. South Hampton NH 03827 or bring it with you to pick up

  • Drop off sealed envelope of cash (note for what and who) at the farm store or offsite pick up location.

  • Send a Venmo to @HeronPondFarm using the higher price to cover the processing fees please!

  • Swipe your card via Square at the farm store, offsite, or at market

  • Call Mikayla with your card information to do it through Local Food Marketplace or do it yourself on LFM if you know how

  • If you plan to pay with SNAP or are in need of a payment plan, please email info@heronpondfarm.com OR call 603.944.9405

4. early bird PRICING STrUCTURE

We raised our CSA prices at the beginning of 2025 for the first time in over two years to account for inflation and the rising cost of doing business. Upon assessing our CSA prices for 2026, we really did not want to have to raise the prices of our CSA again, so we are implementing a dual pricing structure to help cover some of the card processing fees that we face on these larger purchases. You will save the most by paying in check or cash, as 100% of your dollars will go to our small, local business. The price for card and Venmo payments will be slightly more to help cover some of the card processing fees that take away from our business.

ADD ON SHARES

At this time we cannot give any discounts on our add-on shares as we purchase these products in from other local farms, but we are happy to announce that add on pricing has remained the same between this year and last. Plus, if you purchase now you are locking in the current add-on prices that may change later in the year. Thank you for your support!
